Faith and the pressure to have it figured out
Certainty is not the same as faith, and doubt is not the same as failure.
Somewhere along the way many of us picked up the idea that a strong Christian is one with no questions left. So when questions arrive, and they always do, we assume we are losing something.
But faith has never required certainty. It requires trust, and trust is something you can offer while still holding a question. The disciples walked with Jesus in person and still misunderstood him constantly. He kept them anyway.
You are allowed to be honest about what you do not know. Bring the questions into the room instead of leaving them at the door. A faith that has been examined tends to hold weight better than one that has only been inherited.
